Youtube Money Is Haram According To Preacher, Sparks Debate Amongst Netizens And Influencers
Ustaz Abu Syafiq is back at it again, courting controversy with his latest statement, claiming that income generated by influencers on Youtube is haram.
Netizens got into a heated debate over it and Caprice decided to release a statement of his own opposing Abu Syafiq’s opinion.
In his video, Caprice, or Ariz Ramli, said that there are other things an Ustaz of his calibre could be having a halal/haram discussion on namely gambling, bribery and alcohol consumption instead of attacking Youtubers.
Caprice also mentioned that he personally believes there are other more pressing issues that is plaguing the younger generation like being committed in a haram relationship which can be addressed as part of the halal/haram debate. It will definitely create a healthy discussion amongst the youth.
Netizens clearly shares the same sentiments judging by the comments left on Caprice’s post.
Oh well, I mean when you make such controversial statements, you are inviting more cooks, no?

There are preachers on YouTube, people who are passionate about social causes.
Leave the entertainers alone. It is clearly for entertainment. Tak suka, tak payah tengok. Halal or haram hak Allah. Who are we to judge?
