UK’s McDonalds Version Of McSpicy Comes With Milk, For Those Who Cannot ‘Tahan’
Mcdonald’s UK is going to release their “hottest burger yet” on 14th July and locals here are tickled by the titillating caption.
That’s right, McDonald’s UK is about to have a taste of our beloved McSpicy soon. The burger is priced at GBP5.49(SGD 10.31) and will be on offer for a limited time from 14 July till 24 Aug.
The burger comes with a free Happy Meal milk with every purchase made on the My Mcdonald’s app, presumably to cool down those who can’t handle the heat.

Comments ranged from applauding the marketing move;
…to those questioning the lack of creativity…
….to those who want to start a war…
And to those who missed the memo.
The local netizens here joined in on the fun, roasting McDonald’s UK for the exaggerated caption.
Maybe milk and spice is not such a good idea.
It is a Singaporean thing to hold bragging rights it seems.
In honour of the new launch, Mcdonald’s UK carried out a nationwide poll on their social media platforms, asking “How McSpicy Is It For You?”.
The restaurants lit up in either red for not being able to handle the heat and green for “bring it on”.
Wolverhampton lit up in green with an average score of 6.43, bragging that it can handle the heat.

While Norwich lit up red with an average score of 5.47, as the one who can’t hack the heat.

McDonald’s has always been known to bring in their world menu from time to time and perhaps the beloved Mcspicy will find a spot in the hearts of UK citizens.
Reporter’s Opinions: Weak.
But in all honesty, these people aren’t really known for diverse tastes. Remember crispy rendang? They will probably tone it down for the locals there.
And the locals who call it laosai central with the milk, remember ah, y’all are also the same ones who will order McSpicy double with cheese and iced Milo for supper.
