Thrashed 4-0 by Thailand, Indonesia Bomoh Society For National Team Proved Ineffective
Indonesian bomoh (witch doctor) society, Perdunu, held a ritual for the Indonesian football team to win against Thailand in the first leg of the finals.
Netizens had a field day in the comments section as Indonesia still lost despite the effort.
Some compared the supernatural powers between the two countries that are known for it.
That’s a good one as the ritual amounted to nothing for the Indonesian team.
You’re better off not gambling in all honesty.
African magic is no joke..
The infamous Malaysian bomoh was known for his two coconuts in trying to locate the missing MH370 with his supernatural powers. Pulling a comparison to him is apt.
According to the leader of the society, Abdul Fatah Hasan, the Samar Wulu ritual was held behind closed doors. However the ending prayers were streamed live so that people could join in to pray for Indonesia’s victory.
The ritual was held at Perdunu’s headquarters as it required a lot of manpower.
“Big happenings such as football matches, we need to hold the ritual in the HQ and involve a lot of people.” – Abdul Fatah
Alas, it was all for nothing. Indonesia was still trashed 4-0 by Thailand in the first leg finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020.
Reporter’s Opinions: Face it, your team got thrashed good. Perhaps it’s a comeuppance for the way “luck” was on your side in the game against the Lions.
No bomoh can beat the skills of the Thailand team. It’s not even the infamous Siam magic. They played like a well oiled machine on the field.
