SGD vs MYR: Historic low for MYR

The Malaysian Ringgit has hit yet another historic low against the Singapore Dollar on 24 Jan. According to Malaysian reports, the Ringgit has weakened by 1.5% since the start of the year.

The exchange rate has hit several records in recent years, driving more Malaysians to cross the order to seek work here.

The weakening Ringgit has also worsened the cost of living situation for many Malaysians as they deal with high inflation rates.
