Heartwarming, Abang Foodpanda Helps Out Old Man Pushing Wheelchair Cross The Road
Riders are in the news for all the good reasons lately and this Foodpanda rider is the latest one to join the kind Samaritans on the roads.
In a tweet posted on All Singapore Stuff, this Abang Foodpanda parked his bike near the road divider, to help an old uncle wheeling his wheel chair across the road. The tweet went viral with over 1.8k retweets and 36.1k views applauding his kind act.

The uncle is apparently well known in Yishun area and there are others who have lend a helping hand.
And there are those of the opinion that Yishun is not only home to weird happenings. It is a nice change.
Our food riders should really be given more recognition and respect for their services to us especially during the pandemic. They are as essential as other frontline workers.
Reporter’s Opinion: I know a few riders personally and they are one of the kindest around.
These people are humble and sweet. They do it because it is a steady source of income during these uncertain times. And contrary to some comments, there are riders who actually make money and live a comfortable life.
I wonder if there will be a sandiwara written around such riders. Can be a wholesome content if done right, where they become inspirations as they succeed in life from humble beginnings.
Even a thriller where they are stalked by customers or vice versa. Serial killer rider ke, nice ring to it.
