“To be honest I didn’t really do much this year. I had a whole stand up tour planned out and that got cancelled because of COVID. Did a couple of TV gigs, Alhamdulillah. And then just experimenting with my character acting and online content. That has grown too so I’m thankful for that.

“I wouldn’t say it was a year full of victories but I’m just grateful and feel blessed to still have my health and family members around me. I realized that to be the most important thing aside from everything else. So small wins like this means a lot at this point because I’m learning to appreciate the good in life for myself and the people I love.”
