Exclusive Interview With Paroi Studios, Renowned Malaysian E-Sports Streamer

Whoever believes in the future of streaming should take a leaf out of Hadi “Paroi Studios” book and take a leap of faith to pursue their dreams.

Hadi Afiq or affectionately known as Paroi to his Paroiarmy, is a 28-year-old Malaysian father of two who is a jack of all trades. From wedding photography to sales, Hadi has always had an outgoing personality and an infectious energy that is apparent in his streaming videos.

In an exclusive interview with our reporter, Hadi shares on his journey to becoming one of the popular E-sports streamer in Malaysia.

THE BEGINNING

Hadi started his streaming career on 2019 as he enjoys interacting and entertaining others. He lives off the high that he gets from the positive interaction with the masses. He derived the name Paroi Studios from Paroi, Seremban, in Negeri Sembilan.

Starting out, even a mere 30 viewers made him happy because he believed that he would get his numbers eventually and he was right. His viewership increased gradually in two months and Paroi Studios begin gaining traction after he streamed MotoGP 19 every day when it released.

When asked of what his family thought of him becoming a full-time streamer, Hadi said that they have been his pillar of strength from the start, encouraging him to pursue his dream career even when there were uncertainties.

WHY PAROI STUDIOS?

According to Hadi, he believes the reason why his channel is popular with the people is due to the cycle of infectious energy during his streams. His highest viewer count was 6400 during PES 2020 stream.

Paroi Studios also play games, watch movies and regular chat sessions with fans.

BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT AND FUTURE PLANS

Hadi mentioned that his proudest achievements include being an official Facebook Partner under eGG Network and a collaboration with Nescafe Malaysia.

He also looks forward to collaborating with more companies in the future, but his desire is to work with football clubs to expand his streaming channel.

When asked if he would want to hire more streamers or gamers to expand his network, Hadi said that he would like to focus on improving his streaming career for now so that Paroi Studios can deliver the best streaming experience to his audience.
