Eminem Serves Mom’s Spaghetti, Fans Turn Up In Droves

The iconic verse from legendary rapper Eminem’s Lose Yourself comes to mind when the man himself served his customers on the first day opening of his new restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti.

Marshall Mathers surprised his fans by manning the walk-up window of his restaurant located in downtown Detroit at the grand opening on Wednesday. With limited seating, customers are encouraged to get their “Mom’s Spaghetti” with or without meatballs or “Sghetti Sandwich” to go.

Fans were seen trying to get selfies and hugs from the legend.

The comments section was flooded with variations of the lyrics from Lose Yourself as people waxed nostalgic.
Fans reminisce about the times when they listened to the song while growing up.

He can try but he’ll be roadkill like the last time he tried to diss Eminem in a track.
Detroit News reported that fans were queuing up as early as 10 am, 7 hours before the grand opening at 5 pm.

Erin, a fan, said that she cried when she was served the iconic dish by her favourite rapper.
“This has been my dream my whole life,” said Erin Farrer of Detroit, who got to meet Em, take a picture with him, chat him up, give him a hug and get his autograph. Em signed her container of Mom’s Spaghetti, one of the first served at the new spot, “and I bawled my eyes out,”
Reporter’s Opinions: Lose yourself will always hold a special place in the hearts of millennials who grew up on a diet of rappers like Dr Dre, Eminem, Coolio to name a few.
However the reference to the spaghetti is rather disgusting because it was vomit on his sweater. I wonder if he actually tried to replicate that in freshly cooked food.
The song talks about seizing the opportunity as it comes and to lose yourself is to give your all when you’re lucky enough to be presented with it.
Growing up, we were all dreaming of carving our own paths, trying to escape the rat race. This song was a feel good one that motivated the fuck out of us whenever we feel like giving up.
Even today, this is a popular song on countless workout playlists because it still slaps.
