Macpherson Youth Network rolled out an initiative to help people quit vaping by offering $30 vouchers to those who willingly surrender their devices. The campaign will run till 2nd January 2024

"Drop it, Stop it!" is a campaign targeted to help individuals quit vaping. MP Tin Pei Ling mentioned that the program is a collaboration between the group, HSA, and HPB. The penalties will be waived for those who choose to participate in the program. Owning, buying, or using a vaporiser device in Singapore is an offence and carries a penalty of up to $2000.

Some welcomed the initiative, citing concerns about the increased number of young ones vaping. However, there are those in the comments section who were not convinced, saying that surrendering devices at such events can make it easier for law enforcement to track down culprits.
