Do you need to be Buddhist to be Singaporean?

87% of Singaporeans don't believe so in a recent study done by Pew Research Centre. The study showed Singapore having a high tolerance and acceptance of people with other faiths.

In contrast, many people in the other countries surveyed felt that religious identity is closely linked to national identity.
Singapore's high interfaith tolerance
is noteworthy, especially in an era where conflicts and tensions arising from religious divides in countries around the world are common.
