AXN All-Stars Promises To Be Record Breaking Online Extravaganza
2020 has been a challenging year for all of us and in an effort to lift the spirits of everyone in Asia, especially the front-liners, AXN together with the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is putting on an exclusive virtual extravaganza on 28 November, 8 pm on AXN Asia’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
The all-star line-up includes award winners Anggun, Afgan, Mel C and Michael Bolton. It is a record breaking feat orchestrated by AXN across 9 countries and 8 time zones.
Our reporter got up-close and personal with some of the stars involved in the AXN All-Stars extravaganza during a media session, and this is what you can look forward to.
“I am excited to shoot in a favourite museum of mine and show it to the world.” – Afgansyah Reza, Indonesian popstar.
“I am excited to share an intimate moment with my fans by bringing them into my home, and how I stayed creative throughout the lockdown.” – Anggun

Great things are coming out of it, people are finding new ways to reach others, real greatness that will come out of the sadness, finding new ways to entertain people.” – David Foster, Grammy award winning musician and producer
“New opportunity for fans to see us in a different light and environment and in one spot, which wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the pandemic.” – Paul Consentino, illusionist and Dancing with the Stars winner 2013.
“As we’ve evolved in the new norm, I believe we all need a little bit of magic in our lives so I am excited for that.” – Cyril Takayama, renowned French-Japanese magician.
Allan Wu, Justin Bratton, Alan Wong, Marc Nelson, Rovilson Fernandez, Patricia Gouw, and Melissa C. Koh, will be hosting this special event from Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and the United States.
Other line-ups includes guest performers Dance Thrilogy, a tap dance group from Singapore will also be part of the AXN All-Stars extravaganza.

Reporter’s Opinion: I am actually excited to watch the magic shows to be honest.
And also Mel C to perform because I was sporty Spice’s fan growing up. It was her unique voice which helped shot Spice Girls into international stardom.
